HAC

Hrvatske Autoceste (Croatian Motorways) is a company responsible for the management, construction, and maintenance of motorways in Croatia. HAC is an app that provides users with information on toll rates, road conditions, and services along the highways. You can find information about seasonal summer traffic or winter road conditions. This information is extremely useful if you’re traveling through Croatia by car. 

Moj Zet Zagreb and Promet Split

If you are taking local buses and trams in Zagreb, the public transportation company ZET provides information on bus and tram schedules, ticket prices, and real-time updates for a smoother commuting experience.

If you find yourself taking a bus in Split, Promet Split is an app designed for public transportation that offers information on bus schedules, routes, and ticket prices.

Next Bike

You will notice bike sharing stations all over major Croatian cities. In order to use those bikes you need the Next Bike bike-sharing app that will show you where you can get a bike, and allow you to rent one. Next offers traditional cycles, e-bikes and child seats. You have the option to pay as you go or purchase a yearly subscription. Next Bike provides a flexible and eco-friendly mode of transportation to fit all of your needs.

Jadrolinija

For those dreaming of exploring our magnificent islands, you must first figure out how you will cross the sea. Jadrolinija, the leading ferry operator in Croatia, provides a user-friendly app detailing schedules, routes, and ticket prices. While Krilo also offers ferry services, it’s worth noting they have not yet launched an app.

Keks Pay

Similar to AirCash, Keks Pay is very useful for paying bills and transferring money. You are not required to have a bank account to use the app. 

Revolut

Revolut is an app that offers a range of financial services, including international money transfers, currency exchange, budgeting tools, and a prepaid debit card. You also don’t have to have a bank account to sign up for Revolut. 

The Croatian Postal Office

Useful for package tracking, paying your bills or paying all those pesky fees that pop up when applying for Croatian residency.

This app provides you with the latest movies and showtimes in theaters across Croatia. Since international movies are usually played in English with Croatian subtitles, you will find it easy to take in a night at the movies.
